Lamesa City Council members gave the nod Tuesday to demolish structures on six neglected properties in residential neighborhoods, but passed by one residence after owners said they are currently renovating the family home. Two out-of-town owners of a home at 1204 N. 3rd Street got a permit in August to remodel the house. They are installing a new roof, fixing the waterline and working on the foundation.
