TAHOKA – The Slaton Economic Development Corporation (SEDC) board of directors held its regular meeting July 15. A presentation was given by Austin Farmer, a representative for The Retail Coach, an economic development recruitment team. The Retail Coach is a national retail consulting, market research and development firm that uses strategy, technology and creativity to deliver high-impact retail recruitment, Farmer said. The firm does retail recruitment to fill retail gaps in communities using cell phone data.
