A contract for participation in an annual seal coat program coordinated by Parkhill Smith and Cooper was approved this past Tuesday by the Dawson County Commissioners Court. In the motion to accept the contract at a cost of $283,179.35 the Commissioners Court said it would like to add an additional road, if possible, to this year’s project. That motion authorized County Judge Foy O’Brien to either accept or deny the additional cost for that road.
