BROWNFIELD – Local school district leaders expect to stay on schedule despite a stretch of wild winter weather that shuttered local schools for days.Over the past two weeks at Brownfield Independent School District (BISD), winter weather led to two days off for the kiddos on Jan. 24 and Feb. 1, in addition to four days of delayed openings on Jan. 25, Jan. 30, Jan. 31 and Feb. 2.“We have the days banked to not alter the schedule, but we may look for other ways to make up time since it’s still early in the semester,” said BISD Superintendent Chris Smith,
