Schools will be closed, as will some government offices, for Good Friday this week. County offices, City Hall and the Chamber of Commerce will be among the offices closed for Good Friday. Banks will be open, however, and mail will be delivered Friday. The post office and other federal offices here will be open. Lamesa and Klondike school districts are not conducting classes Friday. There are no classes Friday or Monday in the Dawson or O’Donnell school districts. It is a staff day Monday for O’Donnell school personnel.
