Millions of dollars in federal coronavirus relief funding could be coming to schools in Lamesa and the surrounding area. The Lamesa school system has been allocated $5.2 million and surrounding schools are allocated a combined total of more than $2.1 million through the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief III (ESSER III) Fund.
