Students attending classes in six school districts across Dawson County either began the 2023-2024 academic year earlier this week or head back to class on Wednesday.Officials won’t get a clear head count on student numbers since they tend to change as parents continue enrolling their youngsters into school.About 1,500 Lamesa students begin the new school year Wednesday.
