The playground areas at both elementary schools will be getting new equipment and the middle school library will be getting repaired as a result of action taken by the Lamesa school board Thursday evening.The board agreed to allow Lee Lewis, the district’s current general contractor already working on the district’s other construction projects, to take on the middle school library project.That project will add just over $1.6 million to the guaranteed maximum price of all projects that Lee Lewis currently is doing for the school.Those other projects include renovation of the high school tennis courts, construction of a new gym ...
