SNYDER – The Snyder ISD school board voted Thursday to amend the school’s face covering protocol. During last month’s meeting, the board chose to continue to require facemasks until after spring break to see whether COVID-19 rates would spike. Because the district has not reported an increase in cases — at this time there are two COVID-19 cases district-wide — the board approved a resolution making face coverings optional rather than required.
