Nothing has changed in a contract between the Lamesa Police Department (LPD) and the school district for School Resource Officers (SROs) stationed on four campuses.The annual service agreement between the two remains the same except for the possible addition of a fifth officer.“Nothing has changed other than the school is planning to add another officer later in the year,” LPD Chief Josh Peterson told the council. “We like where it’s going.
