At the start of a Lamesa school board meeting each month, administrators, staff and students are recognized for their dedication and accomplishments.Their Oct. 19 meeting was no different.This time, the board honored elementary school educators for their hard work, a high school School Resource Officer (SRO) for always being there, and students for earning school awards Superintendent David Ritchey presented the second Most Valuable Player award to SRO Michael Boyd.Boyd is currently stationed at the high school.
