SLATONITE – A total of 135 families and the homebound had a brighter Christmas Dec. 18 when volunteers from all over Slaton delivered food, toys and other items as part of the annual Santa Red & Blue.There were about 90 people who volunteered to help with the distribution.Chief of Police Trevor Barnes thanked those who volunteered to help distribute the donations.“We really appreciate this.
