Less than a week after Sands High School (SHS) seniors accepted their diplomas, school officials were notified Thursday that the school is sharing a University Interscholastic League (UIL) state championship title with another A1 school.SHS’ drama students were declared co-Theater Team State Champion’s after points, collected through the school year in One Act Play (OAP), film and theatrical design contests, were tabulated.SHS shares the honor with their former UIL rival, Guthrie High School.
