Those who wish to run for a spot on Sands Consolidated ISD’s board of trustees may pick up an application at the school’s office, 101 1st, in Ackerly. Citizens of the district have until Feb. 15 to turn in an application. Sands Consolidated ISD business manager Amy Grumbles said board members Jody Howard and Wes Higgins’s positions are up for election this year.
