Both Dawson County and the City of Lamesa continue to see increased revenue in the monthly sales tax rebates distributed by the state comptroller’s office in Austin.Local sales tax revenue was rebated Friday to cities, counties, public transits and special purpose districts throughout the state.Dawson County’s December rebate of $101,838 represents an 11.8-percent hike over last December’s rebate of $91,033.The county’s year-to-date rebates also continue to exceed last year’s revenue.
