Roschetzky shows breed champion at Houston

When 4-H member Jordyn Roschetzky, 13, won the reserve champion lamb title two months ago at the Dawson County Junior Livestock Show, she wasn’t finished participating in ag competitions.The Lamesa Middle School seventh grader went to the Houston Livestock Show and claimed the Breed Champion Southdown title on March 9.“I feel really good,” Jordyn said. “It’s what I’ve been working at my whole life. I’ve put a lot of work into it.”Jordyn’s animal earned $145,000 at auction. Due to the show’s rules, Jordyn is only allowed to keep $10,000 of the funds.“That’s the first time we’ve ever won a banner.
