SEMINOLE – During their scheduled meeting, City Administrator Tommy Phillips had some good news for the Seminole Economic Development Corporation (SEDC) and the City of Seminole. Phillips told the SEDC Board that a plan to provide a truck route around the city has begun to gain traction with state officials representing the region. Both State Senator Kel Seliger (R-Amarillo) and District 83 Representative Dustin Burrows (R-Lubbock) have been apprised of the plan, and it is being considered by State Transportation Department officials.
