Dawson County could end the year with snow on the ground, and possibly still in the air. Some parts of the county already saw the ground covered in white for a while on Tuesday night, as thunderstorms brought scattered heavy rain, lightning and even some hail. Hail slightly larger that pea-size completely covered the ground about 1:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Munger area west of Lamesa.
