ANDREWS – It appears an affordable housing project—a 48-unit apartment complex in northwest Andrews—recently received the green light after qualifying for a federal tax credit incentive, according to city officials. Andrews City Manager Steve Eggleston informed city council members at the July 23 meeting that the project appeared to be a go. “Steve advised council the company seeking the housing grant received approval, so another apartment complex will be built,” the meeting minutes state.
