In addition to the local city and school races, early balloting is underway in a statewide election to decide the fate of two proposed amendments to the Texas Constitution.Early voting here will continue from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday and Tuesday in the Dawson County Elections Administrator’s office at 504 N. 1st St. in Lamesa.On election day next Saturday, May 7, polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at four different locations in Lamesa.
