SEMINOLE – A failed plot to smuggle illegal aliens into the United States last week appears to have ties to Seminole and the Gaines County Airport.According to a press release from the Presidio County Sheriff’s Office, a man, listed as having an address in Seminole, is wanted for his involvement in a human trafficking attempt on Dec. 30.The man is suspected of piloting the Piper Fixed-Wing Single Engine with five migrants on board which crashed shortly after take-off from the Presidio Airport.The Presidio County press release reports that on the afternoon of Dec. 30, sheriff’s deputies located the aircraft on ...
