STANTON – The Stanton Police Department is in the process of starting its own Chaplains Service. Chief of Police Joe R. Morales has headed the project and has reached out to all local heads of churches in the community. The chief, along with the assistance of Pastore Benjamin Fleet, held at meeting at the First United Methodist Church on April 22. The meeting was geared for the purposes of not only generating interest in the program from area churches, but for input from local church leaders as well.
