The following were among the many calls received recently by the Lamesa Police Department: Tuesday, Aug. 3 12:29 a.m. – A vehicle was reported to have hit a utility pole at the intersection of FM 829 and U.S. Hwy. 180 just west of King-Mesa Gin.
