The following were among the many calls received recently by the Lamesa Police Department: Tuesday, July 13 9:19 a.m. – First responders were dispatched following a report of the roof of a residence collapsing in the 1500 block of N. 10th St., with an elderly woman inside the house. Firefighters reported after they arrived at the scene that only part of the ceiling inside the house had collapsed, and no one was hurt. 9:56 a.m. – Two people were taken into custody after police responded to a report of domestic problems at a residence in the 1400 block of N. Bryan Ave. 8:41 p.m.
