The following were among the many calls received recently by the Lamesa Police Department: Friday, May 28 2:29 a.m. - A caller reported a white pickup driving northbound on Hwy. 349 on the wrong side of the road about five miles south of Lamesa. Another caller reported the vehicle was going about 100 mph. The driver, who reportedly was intoxicated, drove into Lamesa and turned east on N.E. 7th St. An officer stopped the vehicle in the 1300 block of Co.
