The following were among the many calls received recently by the Lamesa Police Department: Friday, March 19 10:17 p.m. – Shortly after reporting a chase in progress at S. 1st St. and Ave. R., an officer reported one person in custody one block to the south. A male was later taken to the county jail and a vehicle was towed from the scene. Saturday, March 20 1:20 a.m. – A call was received of a car having flipped over somewhere near FM 1210 and Hwy. 87. Lynn County authorities later advised the accident was on FM 2370 and that O’Donnell first-responders had been notified.
