The following were among the many calls received recently by the Lamesa Police Department: Wednesday, June 24 8:19 a.m. – Two citations were issued and drug paraphernalia was seized during a search after officers stopped a vehicle in the 1900 block of Lubbock Hwy. The paraphernalia reportedly included a black grinder containing marijuana, a glass pipe oil burner containing residue of methamphetamine, and metal pipe containing marijuana. 10:22 a.m. – A female was arrested and taken to the county jail after police responded to a call from a woman who reported her niece was being abusive and had pushed her 90-year-old mother. 1:41 p.m.
