The following were among the many calls received recently by the Lamesa Police Department: Tuesday, Jan. 7 3:05 a.m. – Police were called to Medical Arts Hospital regarding a male being treated for a dog bite. The victim told police he had been walking in the alley in the 1500 block of N. 22th St. Officers patrolled the area looking for a brown pitbull with white spots, but were unsuccessful in locating the dog.
