Only one new cases of COVID-19 has been confirmed here this week, allowing the number of active cases to actually drop, according to the latest information from the South Plains Public Health District. The latest cases here was confirmed on Tuesday. Zach Holbrooks, the health district’s executive director, reported Tuesday there are currently five active COVID cases in Dawson County.
