Another permit for oil drilling activity in Dawson County was issued Wednesday by the Texas Railroad Commission.Estancia Oil & Gas of Austin plans to drill the Patricia West (Spraberry) Unit No. 401 about 16 miles southwest of Lamesa.The drill site will be located about five and a half miles west of Patricia and about three-quarters of a mile north of State Highway 115.The well is planned as a vertical drilling operation, going to a total depth of 8,600 feet.
