Long dubbed “The biggest little rodeo in Texas,” the annual O’Donnell Rodeo is scheduled for July 6-8, with performances at 7:30 each evening.In addition to the regular rodeo events – bronc riding, calf roping, barrel racing, break-away roping, bull riding and more – the rodeo will feature two events just for children: mutton bustin’ and goat sacking.Special entertainment will be provided by trick rider Cheridyn Bateman of Silver City, Okla., and The Six White Horses, a longtime riding group from Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene.Champion Rodeo Co. of Buffalo, TX will be producing the rodeo.
