ANDREWS – The virus situation in Andrews County seems to have improved to some degree in the past few weeks. For example, during a six-day stretch from Aug. 26-Aug. 31, there were only six new confirmed cases reported by the Andrews County Health Department. The numbers jumped a little with Tuesday’s report, as overall cases increased to 374 from 368 the previous day. Even with Tuesday’s count, there were only 12 new virus cases over the past seven days.
