This is a scene that many local farmers have only got to dream about the past few years, as a cotton stripper pulls in an abundant crop from an irrigated fi eld a few miles east of Lamesa this past week. Harvesting of what is expected to be a good crop has gotten off to a strong start during the past two weeks.
