SNYDER – City water customers that experience a water leak may now be able to get the unexpected changes adjusted off their water bill. The Snyder City Council approved a water leak adjustment policy Monday. According to the policy, water customers may apply to have a portion of a high water bill excused by the city when they have a water leak. All water customers will pay to cover the write-offs potentially through higher water rates. Leaks inside or under a hone, or on a sprinkler system, would not be eligible.
