Joe Hines is expected to begin his first day as Lamesa’s new city manager Oct. 11.The public will have an opportunity to meet Hines and his wife, Karen, at a reception from 5 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. Oct. 12 in the Dal Paso Museum at 125 Main Ave.The Lamesa Economic Development Corporation and the Lamesa Area Chamber of Commerce are sponsoring the event.“We just want to welcome our new city manager and give everyone the opportunity to come out and meet him, and make him and his wife feel welcome in Lamesa,” said Chamber President Karen Mize.Refreshments will be served.Hines ...
