SNYDER – Snyder’s Planning and Zoning Commission will recommend to the Snyder City Council that the former Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) property and building, currently zoned as a residential parcel, be changed to a C-2 commercial zone to accommodate an event center planned by the property’s new owners, Eduardo Murillo and Nayely Cabrera. Several of the property’s neighbors voiced concerns about noise levels, speeding and criminal activity.
