Mesa Underground Water Conservation District board members are meeting at 8:30 a.m., Wednesday in the district office at 212 N. Ave. G.The only item on the agenda is a public hearing on proposed revisions to the district’s rules.A section of the district’s rules contains new language and is in response to House Bill 2443 recently passed by the 88th Texas Legislature.The change affects how people petitions the water district to change its rules.After closing the public hearing, board members will then adjourn the meeting.
