Lamesa school board member Kelli Merritt resigned from office over the weekend.Board president Rebecca Gonzales announced during the board’s Tuesday night meeting that Merritt had resigned effective Saturday.Merritt was in her third term, which doesn’t end until May 2023. She was first elected to office in 2014, and was re-elected in 2017 and 2020.No reason was given for the resignation.
