Lamesa’s South and North elementary schools soon will be serving not only students but their grandparents as well this week.The meals are planned in honor of national Grandparents’ Day.Grandparents’ Day is held on the first Sunday after Labor Day. It falls on Sept. 11 this year.Grandparents are invited to eat lunch with their grandchildren at North Elementary on Monday.
