In honor of what would have been civil rights activist Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s 94th birthday, federal offices and two school districts are taking the day off Monday.All the local banks are closing Monday for Martin Luther King (MLK) Day. They will reopen Tuesday.The local post office, as well as other federal offices in Lamesa, also will be closed. Mail delivery will resume Tuesday.The Lamesa Health Clinic is closed Monday, but Medical Arts Clinic will be open.There’s no school for Lamesa and O’Donnell students or staff.
