A man has been arrested in Monahans after allegedly driving away from the scene of a collision south of Lamesa this past Tuesday morning that claimed the life of a local man.The arrest came after an 18-wheeler believed to have been involved in the collision was located in Monahans, according to Jason Anzaldua, Texas Department of Public Safety sergeant for the Lamesa area.“We put it (information about the accident) out through Crime Stoppers in Midland and Lubbock,” Anzaldua said Friday evening.“We got some information and located the truck.”The man believed to be driving the truck at the time of the ...
