SNYDER – Serving Snyder for almost a half century, the Scurry County Ministerial Alliance and its three services now have a new home.Beginning this week, the food cupboard, free store and community kitchen are moving to 2701 Avenue K, which is the former site of Central Elementary School. The food cupboard and free store are extending their service hours from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. each Tuesday to accommodate those needing assistance who cannot arrive until the lunch hour, by drive-thru window.The new community kitchen will serve hot meals each Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. with plans to ...
