Before you throw away your trash, you might want to go through it to see if there’s anything the Dawson County Public Library can use.Library staff are searching for recyclable items they can use for the Babygarten program.They are collecting bottle tops, small water bottles with lids, oatmeal containers, Pringle containers, and round plastic lids such as Cool Whip tops.The materials will be utilized in the library’s Babygarten program.“For Babygarten there’s different sensory and art activities, and they just call for different recycled materials,” said library director Angie Martinez.Babygarten is open to parents of newborns up to 24-month-old toddlers.
