It’s pumpkin time at the Dawson County Public Library.The library is hosting a “Bring your own Pumpkin” decorating opportunity in the library’s meeting room from 9:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. each of the next two Saturdays.All youngsters have to do is come with pumpkins. Library staff will provide the paint and decorating materials.For those with a competitive side, the library is hosting its second annual pumpkin decorating contest from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. on Oct. 23.Staff will judge the entries in three age groups.
