The Dawson County Public Library is getting in a Halloween mode by hosting pumpkin decorating sessions and a contest to see who can come up with the best jack-o’-lantern.It’s ‘Bring your own Pumpkin’ to the library’s meeting room for decorating activities from 9:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. Oct. 16 and Oct. 23.“They just bring a pumpkin and we will have all the stuff to paint and decorate their pumpkin,” said library director Angie Martinez.The library’s second annual pumpkin decorating contest will be held from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m., Oct. 23.
