Lamesa High School Principal David Ritchey remembers the time he worked as a waiter at a dinner hosted by the school for the community when he was a senior in Sweetwater in the early 1990s.Since then, the dinner has become an annual tradition at his old high school.“It was one of the more enjoyable moments of my senior year,” Richey recalls.Ritchey and others are bringing that idea to LHS for the first “Senior Serve” dinner this coming month.Between 60 and 80 of the high school’s 108 seniors will serve the meal.
