Seventeen Lamesa High School students recently competed the University Interscholastic League Class 3A District 3 Academic contest.Lamesa earned seventh in the Overall school sweepstakes.Alexa Ontiveros, Jaysen Gamez, Reagan Braswell and Maria Reyes competed in Calculator Applications and earned seventh as a team.Lauren West and Joana Estrada-Hernandez participated in Literary Criticism.
