Lamesa High School’s production of “Leading Ladies” is advancing to bidistrict after placing second out of seven shows in the district one-act play competition last Friday at Denver City.Bi-district competition is scheduled for next Tuesday, March 22, in El Paso.Lamesa students selected to the all-star cast at the district contest were sophomores Johnathan Iglesias, who plays the roll of Doc, and Leonardo Lopez, who has the part of Leo.Earning honorable mention all-star cast were sophomore Jordan Kester, in the roll of Jack, and freshman Zayda Nava, who plays Audrey.Olivia Gutierrez received an individual crew award for her work on sound.Other ...
