The Lamesa High School (LHS) Marching Band members are taking their show on the road to Abilene on Nov. 14. The band captured high praise after demonstrating their almost-seven-minute show called, “Return of the Samurai,” before University Interscholastic League judges at Lowery Field in Lubbock this past Saturday. “Each judge gave us a Division I (rating), which is a superior rating,” said LHS head band director Sonia Carrion. “With this crazy year, the kids pulled it off.
