A new executive director of economic development for Lamesa could possibly be named Wednesday evening. Interviews with two candidates for the position are scheduled during a special called meeting of the directors of both the Lamesa Economic Development Corporation (LEDC) and the Lamesa Economic Alliance Project (LEAP). That meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the Presidents Room at the Lamesa Area Chamber of Commerce. The interviews will be conducted during a closed executive session for discussion of personnel matters.
